This week I am back with a Thrifted Fall Table and A Fall At Home Blog Hop with some of my favorite bloggers from around the blogosphere! They have put together some beautiful fall inspiration for you, so don't forget to scroll to the bottom and check out their posts!
If you've been following me for very long you know I love to decorate using thrifted items. There is something about the thrill of the hunt and a good deal that makes thrifting one of my favorite activities. Right now I have two thrift store decorating obsessions; old knit sweaters and vintage silver-plate.
My first thrift store obsession, old knit sweaters are great because they can be turned into almost anything fabric related. From comfy pillows, to adorable knob pumpkins, and cozy patchwork table runners knit sweaters are a must have for fall.
My second thrift obsession, vintage silver-plate, is packed with tiny details, great patina and beautiful shine. Not to mention it come in tousands of forms making it the perfect decorating accent. Over the next couple weeks I'll show you how I turned these simple thrifted items into beautiful fall decor.
One of my favorite projects this fall are these knob sweater pumpkins. They were super easy to make, they can be used almost anywhere and those knobs really make them pop! I'll be adding a full tutorial on how I made these adorable pumpkins soon, so don't forget to check back!
These chalkboard plate chargers were another awesome thrift project. I love the way they turned out and the best part is they can be used for any reason or season! My favorite! Lightweight, inexpensive, and versatile! To see the full tutorial on how I made these, click here.
Another fun upcoming project post is this cozy patchwork sweater table runner. It really brought my fall table together and is the perfect compliment to my new sweater pumpkins.
This picture sums up all the reasons why vintage silver-plate is my favorite. Look at how much dimension and shine they add to the table. Plus they make the perfect backdrop for these adorable bow napkins.
Love those little sweater pumpkins! They are super fast and easy to make, not to mention inexpensive!
