Merry Christmas Tour of Homes

Merry Christmas

Hi Everybody!

I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving!  After some much needed rest,  family time, and lots of  awesome DIY projects I am excited to spread some Christmas Cheer!  Today I have teamed up with 5 of the most inspirational ladies decor ladies I know to bring you a Merry Christmas Tour of Homes!

2 Bees in a Pod

The Crowned Goat

Pocketful of Posies

Karen’s up on the Hill

The Cedar Shake Cape

Craving Some Creativity

It’s amazing that up until this year if you asked me what my Christmas style was I would have just shrugged and said whatever tickles my fancy.  But this year, for the first time ever I actually have an answer.  I don’t know if it’s because we’ve been away from the snow covered mountains for so long, but all I want to see these days is snow.  So my newly discovered Christmas style is something along the lines of vintage charm meets rustic mountain cabin.

I have to say it is the perfect theme for me!  It wraps up all the things I hold dear while still allowing us to keep our funky and eclectic ornament collection!

Since we are lacking in extra porch space I decided to bring these cute mini trees inside and fill them with my favorite vintage shiny and bright ornaments with rustic touches.  Not only will this keep these precious and oh so fragile ornaments away from little fingers but it looks great siting on our console table!

This vintage ski print I picked up at the thrift store a couple months ago makes the perfect neighbor for my vintage shiny and bright tree.  How beautiful is all that snow?

This year I decided to get a little creative with our mantel.  So I borrowed a line from my favorite Christmas Carol and used it made this awesome reclaimed wood sign.  Can you believe the whole sign cost about $7?  I’ll be sharing all the details later this week, so don’t forget to stop by and check it out!

My new sign looks great with all my new reclaimed furniture leg and vintage spindle candle sticks I found this past week on a junking excursion with my wonderful Father-In-Law.

This is the first time I’ve lived in a house with an exposed stair case, and I have to say I love it! What a great way to round out all of our Christmas decorating!

After switching out a few accessories our Romantic Industrial Shelf is all dressed up and ready for Christmas!

Would you believe I even got my act together this year and made a place for all of our beautiful Christmas Cards?!?  Since we live so far away from friends and family we get a lot of them and it will be so nice to finally have a place to display them.

I dressed up our dining room with a cute new wreath I just finished, stop back by tomorrow for all the details!

These cute Christmas Tree napkins are the perfect accessory for the quilted table runner my grandma made.

Last but certainly not least, especially since it is still my favorite room in the house, I added a little Christmas charm to our Romantic Industrial Bedroom.

I hope you enjoyed my Merry Christmas Home Tour as much as I enjoyed decorating for it!  Now all that is left to do is wrap the gifts and drink some eggnog!
