To start my DIY Beach Party Invitations I simply found a few of my favorite antique lithograph images from Biodiversity Heritage Library (Yes you can use these images for free without copyright infringement as long an they were originally published prior to 1923 per their website). Then I traced them using my Studio software, cleaned up the image a little bit and added my finally added my text and border cuts.
Before I could sketch my new DIY Beach Party Invitations I had to change my border cuts from “cut” mode to “no cut” mode. Then I sent the document to my Cameo machine using the Sketch Pen Settings. Once all my images were sketched and without removing the cut mat from my machine, I changed the images and text to “no cut” and the border lines to “cut”. Finally I changed out the sketch pen for a blade and let my Silhouette do the rest!
Didn’t my DIY Beach Party Invitations turn out great?! The best part is they are super inexpensive to make and they fit into a regular letter size envelope so there is nothing extra to buy! Plus you can sketch up as few or many as you need!
Do you love everything about the beach? Then here are a few decor items you’ll love!
